Not for the Young and Fun

I have ordered a cologne from Chopard before and loved it, so I was excited to be able to try the women's perfume as well. I ordered three of the perfumes from Chopard actually because all of the bottles were pretty and the cologne was so great, I didn't want to miss out. Unfortunately, none of the women's perfumes were what I expected them to be. This one was a bit more of an older smelling perfume (as was one of the other bottles) and reminded me of something my grandmother may wear as opposed to something I would wear. I expected this to be a fun and light perfume with sexy notes/hints of roses but thought this had a bit of a muskiness to it which was disappointing. Otherwise, the bottle was pretty and the perfume lasted a reasonable amount of time. All in all, I wouldn't order this again and would only recommend this for someone like my grandmother who would actually like this.

The listing shows that this perfume has six exceptional varieties of rose. Well. . . If you're expecting this perfume to have an overwhelming rose aroma. . . .you'll be surprised. . . because it doesn't. At least not to me. the rose aroma is quite offset with patchouli. I like it, but if you're looking for a rose perfume, this is probably not it. Made in Italy.

Strong smelling

I'm not too sure if what I think when it comes to scent. The packaging is really pretty and has a rose cap which was a nice touch, but I don't think the perfume smells very much like roses. To me, it has sort of a masculine smell to it that I can't quite place that overrules what I would expect to be more of a flowery smell.

Roses, cinnamon, and cotton candy. Not at all sexy.

I hover between 3 and 4 stars for this. The main notes for me are the ones in the title: roses, cinnamon, and a vague sweetness I liken to cotton candy. My daughter thinks it smells like rose incense. It's not particularly sexy, and definitely not edgy, unless you're a young teen, and then maybe the cinnamon might be a bit of a risque note. I wouldn't say it's extremely floral, but as it fades throughout the day it takes on more of a powdery note. It most definitely is not "decadent." It lasts a couple of hours at most. This is a feminine scent that is appropriate for daytime and school or work. Excellent for young girls---and Grandma. If you're looking for something sexy and alluring or powerful, keep looking.

Mom very happy with this gift

I got this "Love Chopard By Chopard - Richly Floral And Decadent Scent" for my mom and she likes it very much. It comes in a large and beautiful bottle. A little spray gives a strong and long-lasting smell. For a large bottle from a luxury brand, the price seems reasonable too. My mom is definitely happy with it and thus I'm recommending it too.
