I own both Sunset Riot and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat

I own both Sunset Riot and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540...hands down this is as close to BR 540 as you can get for a sixth of the price, with the only downside being it does not last as long, meaning you need to top it up. It's opening smells like a warm summer evening by the beach. It has a fresh citrusy scent at first, followed by a flowery smell, and ends with a warm and cozy vanilla, amber, and musk scent. For the price of 40 it's a no brainer vs 235 for BR540. I'll definitely be buying this instead of BR 540 in the future. 9.5 out of 10 from me.

The All Saints range of perfumes is being marketed as

The All Saints range of perfumes is being marketed as unisex fragrances. Metal Wave, however, definitely has more of a classically masculine scent. It's musky and woody, with top notes of a vanilla-like fragrance providing a bit of sweetness. The top notes are listed as juniper berry, magnolia and papyrus wood. No mention of vanilla, so it must be the magnolia which is providing that scent. I doubt I would purchase this, however (I was sent a review bottle to try) if I tried it on in a shop. I prefer more natural, less synthetic fragrances. It's quite a strong fragrance and it lasts throughout the day. I like the idea of a unisex fragrance though, and I've given this five stars for presentation. The bottle looks great, with a chunky lid and classy design. It looks much more expensive than its retail price.

I have the All Saints Metal Wave and the bottle

I have the All Saints Metal Wave and the bottle is really really elegant and beautiful, I am going to use later when will be finished for decoration because is really amazing, the tap is cork and is greatly different when you opened the texture and the sound is great suits perfect with the tone of wood in the smell. The size is 100 ml. The main components are, Magnolia, Juniper Berry and Papyrus Wood, I can't feel the different textures when I smell but I can feel the wood and is a great idea for a men's perfume, with the difference of something sweet and masculine. The berry give a fruit taste that sometimes you can feel over the wood. I think they found a perfect balance in the sweetener of this fragrance. I didn't smell the other two that they have but dependently I am very happy with this smell on my partner. The smell stays in the skin and clothes, that is nice. They come in a nice cardboard box if you would like for a gift.

This is a lovely scent, strong but not cloying, it doesn't last that long, or perhaps that's because you get used to the fragrance so don't notice it as much. It has such a satisfactory smell to it that wouldn't be the case if it were too strong so the mix of components is spot on. Subtle and earthy.
