The Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir arrived safely in typical packaging-branded box with cellphone wrap on. The perfume comes in 30ml glass bottle with spray dispenser and fancy lid. The bottle is in handy, handbag friendly size. The bottle has colour of a beetroots. The fragrance is strong and lasts much longer than unbranded perfumes. The scent is rich, deep and strong. Its suitable for lady with class, business woman, confident and full of surprises person. I can't describe exactly the fragrance, just it's not easy combine the right words... I've sprayed my jacket with one pump yesterday and today I could smell the perfume still on. Also my jumper has this nice fragrance still on. I think this fragrance is not suitable for teenagers who should rather wear lighter, sweet fragrances. As this particular perfume is strong, the small amount/ one pump goes a long way. I don't need to apply it every day. One pump for two days is enough totally. This fragrance is expensive for just 30ml but it lasts longer. I like it and can recommend it to full of confidence ladies.

The first scent when I spray is not to my taste - very grandma smell to my mind! But then, after just a few minites it settles into a very feminine scent with lots of vanilla and sweetness. It's so nice after a day wear too. It even lasts after a shower on me so you really don't need to use much. My husband even commented that he could smell it clearly - thankfully he likes it too, although he prefers the other version from Hugo Boss. It's in a slightly more pink or fushia coloured bottle. I love them both!

this as you might expect from a big brand name

this as you might expect from a big brand name company is very high quality, from the bottle to the scent. its quite pricey, but right now at time of review its been reduced in price, but still very pricey in my opinion. its quite a small quantity at just 30ml, but each small spray lasts a very long time, on some occasions 2 days. the scent is hard to describe, i like it and its grown on me, but id say its definitely a scent for the more confidant/business woman. even tho its only a very small quantity in the bottle its lasted ages as each spay is quite small, the bottle still looks full after 2 months! (obviously i have others and not just using just this one every day). unlike some other perfumes, you only need to apply this once in a day as it really lasts.

This has a very nice smell. I found the smell not overwhelming, and strikes a perfect balance. Seems rather expensive just for 30ml, however since this is an eau de perfum, then the concentration of each spray makes up for low quantity, even just a bit. The bottle also looks nice and I feel it would be a perfect gift for many occasions.
